The beginners class is an introduction to martial arts, where students learn the basics and have fun learning how their bodies work. Students typically spend a year in the beginners class getting up to speed and building a strong foundation, with juniors spending an additional 6 months in the beginners class before moving to the intermediate class.

Once students have gained a basic understanding of martial arts, they move to the intermediate class. These classes run at a faster pace, with more focus on higher grade techniques, as well as an introduction to sparring, grappling and close quarter combat (CQC)

Are we even allowed to speak about this class?

This class focuses purely on the sparring/fighting element of martial arts, with specific drills for competitive students, working on the various skills required to excel in point fighting, light contact and full contact fighting.

before moving to the intermediate class.

Our adults classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, whether you’re a seasoned pro or it’s your very first time, fit freak or complete novice… everyone’s welcome!
